Directly across from the courthouse steps in Ripley, Maka Mia Pizza is a nice little place to eat in town. The pretzel appetizers are always good plus you get a lot for the price. They are big and pillowy and it is my favorite. The pizzas are good of course but the wings and subs are also really good. The atmosphere is that of a modern pizzeria with the decor but there is a bonus area to eat outside that is really inviting as you are right on the sidewalk to people watch. There are TVs everywhere and a bar for after hours lounging. Cauliflower pizza option is nice along with the salads for lighter fair. I was able to eat there even with some strict diet restrictions. Don’t miss this place if you’re looking to try something different than the typical chain restaurants.
We had personal pizzas and breadsticks and they were all delicious for a very reasonable price, and no one left hungry. The place wasn’t busy and our server was very attentive to our needs. If it wasn’t 7 hours from our home, we’d be regulars here! Highly recommend making it a stop on any road trip on 77.
I'm not sure what you did to improve your pizza, but last night the pizza we got from you was better than we had ever got from you before, and the best pizza in Ripley by far! Maybe even the best pizza I've ever ate! Keep making it that way please!!!!! Absolutely Delicious!!!!!
We ordered two 18 inch pizzas last night. This pizza was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best pizza we have had in a long time from Ripley.
Fantastic pizza, cheese sticks, calzones, pasta ... everything is just great. You owe it to yourself to stop by if you're in the area, as they're a locally-owned restaurant that deserves your business. It's relatively new construction, so everything is nice and clean. Draft beer selection is the usual fair, and they all come out nice and cold. Plenty of TV's with a wide selection of sports to keep you entertained. Why are you still reading this, just go here and eat!
Stopped here on my way home to Ohio. Great pizza! Checks all the boxes; great crust, tasty sauce, good amount of cheese, and the pepperoni was scrumptious The beer and wine selection could use some improvements. They make an awesome old fashioned though.
Food was amazing, we found you guys on Google on our way up the interstate and we do not regret stopping here. Pizza was perfect, the BLT calzone was spectacular and the chicken Alfredo was also . We will be sure to stop back everytime we pass by Ripley. Thank you for the yummy food !!!
I was in town visiting family. We needed a place for a late nite bite & ended up here. The place is clean & open. The menu consists of the regular bar food favorites. We ordered boneless wings, pretzel bites, pizza, boneless wing salads and of course beer. Everything was good and served hot. We finished with ice cream. The service was good and the prices were right too. If we're back in the area, we'll come by again.
